I saw firsthand how a single scholarship could change the trajectory of an entire family.

Today, as a Board of Management member for Mureru Secondary School, I see that the need is still great. Kenya is full of brilliant minds—the ‘Silicon Savannah’—but many lack the resources to access the global stage. Sahara VA Solutions was born to bridge that gap. We don’t just provide jobs; we fund the education that makes those jobs possible.”

The 5% Pledge

We invest 5% of every dollar of profit directly into Kenyan education.

This isn’t a vague promise. This fund is dedicated to:

• High School & University Scholarships: Directly paying tuition for bright students in Kenya.
• Digital Literacy: Providing the tools (laptops and internet access) required for Kenyan youth to compete in the global remote economy.
• Mentorship: Offering career guidance to students so they can transition from the classroom to the “Silicon Savannah” workforce.

Radical Transparency

We know that “CSR” can often feel like a marketing buzzword. We do things differently.

• Operational Oversight: Our CEO, Tesh, personally oversees the Sahara Impact Fund. She ensures that every shilling is accounted for and goes directly to school fees and equipment—not administrative bloat.
• Monthly Impact Reports: Our clients receive a “Legacy Update” in their monthly newsletter, detailing exactly who was helped that month.
• The Sahara Vlogs: You can follow our journey on our YouTube channel, where we document our visits to the schools and the stories of the students you are supporting.
